Whenever recommends avoiding washing Raw Denim during the early stage of wear. As an untreated fabric, it preserves the original color and natural fibers. Washing too soon may cause fading, loss of shape, and diminish its authentic character.
Over time, Raw Denim naturally develops creases and a unique patina, creating personal fades that make each piece one of a kind.
For minor stains, gently spot clean with a damp cloth. If deeper cleaning is necessary, we recommend professional dry cleaning.
During the first few wears, avoid pairing with white footwear or light-colored garments, as natural dye transfer may occur.
Whenever Atelier also offers a dedicated dry-cleaning service for Raw Denim pieces to help maintain and preserve their quality.
2. Is this product suitable for men or women?
Our pieces are designed with a unisex spirit, so they can be worn by both men and women. Choosing the right size is key to achieving the best fit and silhouette.
3. What is the difference between Raw Denim and Wash Blue?
Raw Denim:
Untreated denim in a deep indigo shade. It may feel slightly stiff at first, but softens over time and naturally fades according to the wearer’s movements and body shape.
Wash Blue:
Pre-washed denim with a lighter or faded blue tone. It feels softer and more comfortable from the first wear.
4. Is Raw Denim hot or uncomfortable to wear?
Raw Denim may feel slightly thicker and more structured at first compared to washed denim. However, it is still made from breathable cotton denim and will gradually soften with wear.
As you break it in, the fabric molds to your body and becomes significantly more comfortable over time.
